Attendance

Attendance is mandatory in my class. You cannot learn the class material if you are not in class. There is a grade given each class period, which includes attendance and participation.  An automatic "0" is given if you are not in class. After 3 unexcused absences a "0" will be given for the semester. Class starts on the designated hour. Be in class, ready to start class on time, otherwise you will be marked tardy and after 3 unexcused tardies, you will receive a "0" for your daily grade.

It is in your best interest to always check your AC email before coming to class. Any changes in class, class time or location will be sent via email.

Calendar

As a studio class, the calendar will be somewhat flexible.  A variety of projects will be assigned, both for individual and team participation.  While there will be time limits on project completion, the number of projects and time frame required may depend upon the levels and depth of discussion, research, field trips, and guest presentations.
