\ Cell phones and audible pagers should be set to ‘vibrate’ and should not be answered during class. Text messaging is not permitted during class time.  Students will not be allowed to use recording devices of any kind in the classroom- including tape recorders and/or video cameras.

\ Each student will adhere to the Student Handbook Policies and Procedures, The Amarillo College VN Honor Code Policy, Social Networking Policy, and all agency policies including HIPPA. Any violation of these policies and procedures may result in failure of the course and possible dismissal from the program.

Grading Criteria

GRADE SCALE:

A=90-100       B=80-89        C=70-79        D=60-69        F=Below 60

 

 

REQUIRED EXAMINATIONS:

A final grade of 70 is required to pass the course. The following will be used to determine your grade:

            Exams: Respiratory, Neuro, Endocrine/Leadership: 75%

            Quizzes: 2.5%

            Discussions: 2.5%

            Final comprehensive: 20%

Leadership/Management  - included on Endocrine test and final exam

Attendance

\ ATTENDANCE  POLICY:

\ Regular attendance is necessary for satisfactory achievement. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the student to attend class. 90% attendance in class is required to pass the course. Tardiness is documented and is deducted from class time.
