    Student Performance

    The student will define accounting terminology; analyze and record business transactions in a manual and computerized environment; complete the accounting cycle; prepare financial statements, and apply accounting concepts related to cash and payroll.

    By the end of the semester, the student will be able to complete satisfactorily all of the Learning Outcomes (Minimum Competencies) with a competency level based on the completion of required examinations administered under the supervision of the instructor and evaluated according to the instructor’s grading scale in the Office Administration Department.

    4. Prepare financial statements. 
    5. Apply accounting concepts related to cash and payroll.

    Grading Criteria

    \ Grading Scale: 90-100 = A; 80-89 = B; 70-79 = C; 60-69 = D; 0-59 = F

    \ 20% = Major Exams
    \ 20% = Comprehensive Review Problems
    \ 20% = Comprehensive Final

    \ Students are required to take tests and submit homework assignments according to the Course Schedule. If a student misses a scheduled deadline, ten points will be deducted per day; i.e., one day late = -10 points, two days late = - 20 points, three days late = - 30 points, etc.
