INMT-1305-001 Introduction to Industrial Maintenance
TECM 1301
Basic mechanical skills and repair techniques common to most fields of industrial maintenance. Topics include application of precision measuring instruments and general safety rules common in industry, including lock-out/tag-out. Practice of basic layout and piece part measurement while using standard measuring tools is also emphasized.

Homework :TOOLING U/Quizzes, Projects and Final
TOOLING U/Homework will be from the TOOLING U Modules. Each module will end with a quiz. In order for the student to advance to the next module, he or she must succesfully pass the current subject (72% or above) being covered. All tooling-u modules for this class will be broken into eight groups with a calander date assigned to each group failure to meet the due date, which is the begining of that class period, for any one group will result in a 12.5% reduction of the entire class final grade. Two missed homework assignments will result in a 25% reduction of the entire class final grade. Three missed homework assignments will result in the student either having to withdraw from the class or recieve a failing grade for that class.
Final: A comprehensive in class final exam and lab project will be required. Any student failing to take the final exam will fail the course. The written exam will be open note only. The final project must be turned in no later than the end of that students last class period to recieve a grade.
