Quizzes:

  • There will be 3 Chapter Quizzes due each week.
  • Each Quiz will be 10 Multiple Choice Questions from the corresponding Chapter.
  • You only have one attempt at each Quiz
  • You must complete the Quiz once you open it. You cannot start a Quiz, exit out and come back. Once you exit the Quiz, your grade will be submitted as is.
  • The Quizzes are all available for you to take as soon as you are ready.
  • The quizzes are due every Sunday night by 11:45 p.m., according to the Calendar below.
  • There will be NO make-up quizzes given under any circumstances. If you do not complete the quiz by the due date, you will receive a ZERO.
  • If your computer crashes or you have technical difficulties, email me immediately, and I will decide on a case-by-case basis the appropriate solution. I highly recommend using Firefox as your browser. If you consistently have technical problems, I will insist you take the quizzes at one of AC’s computer labs.
  • EXTRA CREDIT: You are not required to read Chapters 20, 21, 22 and 25; however, if you read any of these Chapters and take the Quiz associated with it, I will add 1 point to your final average for each Quiz you complete with a 90 or above. You will have 3 attempts at these bonus quizzes. The Due date for completing this optional extra credit is the same as the Final Exam, which is July 31 at 11:45 p.m.

 Final Exam:

  • There will be a Comprehensive Final Exam.
  • There will be 4 Multiple Choice Questions from each Chapter for a total of 84 Questions.
  • You will have one attempt at the Final Exam.
  • You will have 4 hours to complete the Final Exam once you open it.
  • You must complete the Final Exam once you open it. You cannot start the Final Exam, exit out and come back. Once you exit the Final Exam, your grade will be submitted as is.

Attendance

Since this is an online class, your attendance each week will be the completion of your quizzes. You have 3 Quizzes due each week, so you better get busy now and stay busy until August. That is the nature of an online course, and this is especially true in the condensed format of the Summer schedule. I will be monitoring your progress throughout and will answer any questions you have about the material. PLEASE ask me questions about the material.
