GRADING SCALE:
EXAMINATIONS: Pretests, Quizes and Tests will consist of true-false and multiple choice questions.
Assignments are to be completed and submitted within the Blackboard online course by Sunday night in the week the assignment is due.
The Final Examination in this course will be comprehensive.
Your final grade will be determined by your successful completion of all assigned work.
You will be working on a semester long Wardrobe Analysis Project which will count for 45% of your final grade. Details will be announced in class.
Instructor reserves the right to subjectively influence the final grade relative to class attendance, participation and attitude.
ATTENDANCE POLICY:
Since this is an online course, attendance is tracked through your logons and your getting your assigned work completed on time (just loging on without doing anything will not earn you any points). You are expected to invest approximately the same amount of time as you would in a traditional seated class. A traditional three semester hour course meets three hours in class and requires an additional two hours of study time outside of class for each hour spent in class (for a total of 9 hours per week). You should treat this class as you would any other college course.
WITHDRAWAL POLICY: It is the responsibility of the student to initiate drop or withdrawal procedures through the Registrar’s Office. Students who stop attending class but do not officially drop or withdraw from this course will receive a letter grade at the end of the semester.
November 18th is the last date to withdraw or to change from credit to audit.
