Grading Distribution
The course grade will be computed as follows:
Average of Unit Examinations = 45%
Average of homework/discussions = 25%
Comprehensive Final Examination = 30 %
The following grade scale applies throughout this course:
A = 92 – 100
B = 83 – 91
C = 75 – 82
F = less than a 74.5
This course consists of assignments (which typically are done in the form of discussions) and major exams.
Major exams will be open for 3 days. They will open at 5 am and close at 10:55 pm on the third day. The test dates are listed below in syllabus. There will be not make up work allowed on major exams, make sure you are very aware of this point. Since this is an internet course and test are completely online, you will need to plan accordingly for any computer issues.
To be successful in this course you should expect to log in no less than twice weekly.
