EMSP-1149-001 Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
Prerequisite: Open to any licensed physician, LVN, RN, paramedic, AEMT or EMT
Theory and skills necessary for the management of pre-hospital trauma emergencies as specified by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) guidelines.

\ At the completion of this course, the student will have demonstrated sufficient mastery of the course objectives, listed at the beginning of each text, to effectively assess and manage prehospital trauma patients. It is desired that course goals be accomplished to the extent that the student’s final grade is not less than a grade of “C” as evaluated by the program faculty. A final grade less than “C” will result in failure of the course.
