BASM-0302-WBM2 Basic Academic Skills
Prerequisite: BASM 0301 or MATH 0301-minimum grade of C or acceptable TSI or Accuplacer math score.

Textbook and software bundle can be purchased at the Amarillo College Bookstore on Washington Street Campus.
This is a competency-based course, which means that once you can demonstrate you have mastered the skills this course teaches, you will then have completed the course. Mastery is demonstrated through ongoing evaluation of your learning. The course including the final exam must be completed by 8:30 pm on August 11, 2015.
COURSE CREDIT:
Three hours semester credit will be received. (3 sem hrs; 2 lec, 2 lab)
These credits may not be applied toward an Associate Degree and are not transferable to another institution; however, this course prepares students to pass the TSI exam and/or to be successful in college-level classes.
If you receive financial aid, check with a financial aid advisor before dropping this course. If you fail this course, you may be placed on Academic or Financial Aid Suspension/Probation.

There is no mandatory attendance required for this course. However, in order to be successful, you are expected to work at least 10-20 hours each week to complete the weekly assignments.
For additional help with this online class, you may visit the Access Learning Center located on the 3rd floor of the Lynn Library building, Room 300 on the Washington Street Campus.
Instructors will be available to help you during the center's regular hours:
