Expected Student Behavior

\ Students are required to show professionalism, discipline, attention, respect, participation, and cooperation.

Grading Criteria

\ Grading will be based on various knowledge and performance tests that include design projects and presentation. These are graded on timeliness, strength of concept, professionalism, craftsmanship, and success in application of creative content. Evaluations: Problem solving, execution, creativity, neatness, organization and professionalism (ie. attitude), in completed classroom projects.

Attendance

\ No more than 2 class periods may be missed without approval from the instructor. After two “free” absences, the final class grade will be reduced by 3 points for each unexcused absence, and you will be advised by the instructor concerning continuing or withdrawing from the course.

Print your name and project title on the back of the artwork, and on the front of the
scantron test form. Project and Test scores are averaged together. No final exam.

Each project requires preliminary drawing and designing in your sketchbook.
