Tests 50%
Final Exam 25%

Final grades for this course will be based on the components of the course and will be calculated as follows.  Lecture will cover five units.  Each unit will have three parts: written, receptive and expressive.
                                                                                        

Final course averages will be calculated and assigned letter grades. 
A = 89.5-100
B = 79.5-89.4
C = 69.5-79.4
D = 59.6-69.4
F = 59.6 or below

Exams that are missed can be replaced by a re-approved project.  A student who must be absent from the final must petition the instructor to arrange an alternate date.
