Employees in the business world are expected to be at work promptly each day; therefore, students in business classes are expected to be in class promptly each day. This class meets twice each week. After two absences for any reason, one point will be deducted from the semester average per absence. There are no excused absences. Three tardies equal one absence. If you leave class for any reason while the class is being conducted, it will be counted as a tardy. If you are more than 5 minutes late to a class, it will be counted as an absence.
