Semester Grade 100 percent
You are NOT required to submit the exercises for each chapter you complete, but these exercises are extremely important in understanding the concepts and procedures you will be using in the chapter assessments. I strongly encourage you to work through the exercises to understand the procedures and concepts for the chapter before completing the chapter assessments. However, you WILL submit the exercises for Chapter 16 and then for Chapters 29 and 30. For Chapters 29 and 30, you will ONLY be doing the exercises—not the assessments.
The assessments are to be submitted electronically (as attachments to the specified Drop Box) through Blackboard. Assignments will be checked and comments on any errors will be placed on the submitted assignment. Ten points will be deducted for each error on the assessments. Ten points per week will be deducted from the grade for any work submitted after the posted deadline. Students are encouraged to read/apply the instructor’s comments when making corrections to homework to be better prepared for tests.
PRODUCTION TESTS:
Production tests will be graded as follows:
0 errors = 100
1 error = 85
2 errors = 75
3 errors = 65
4 errors = 55
5+ errors = 50
TESTING: Students are required to adhere to the course schedule. All deadlines are posted to the online course calendar and will be strictly adhered to.
Changes/deviations from the course schedule will be made by email at least one week prior to the scheduled event. It is the student’s responsibility to stay current, informed, and on time regarding deadlines.
Assessments are due by 11:55 p.m. on the date they are due. Assignments that are not submitted by the deadline will have ten points per week deducted from the grade.
There are three (3) production tests in this course.
There is no comprehensive final examination. The last production test (over Chapters 26-30) will be made available during Week 8. However, you must complete/submit all of the assignments for Chapters 26-30 before taking the final exam.
