If you are an active staff or faculty member according to Human Resources, use "Exchange". All other students, use "AC Connect (Google) Email".

Expected Student Behavior

Food and drink may be allowed in the classroom setting, at the discretion of the instructor, but food and drink are not allowed in labs.

Pagers and cell phones 'WILL' be turned off in the classroom setting, and in labs.

A letter grade will be assigned for the course according to the following criteria:
A = 90 to 100, B = 80 to 89, C = 70 to 79, D = 60 to 69, F = Below 60
 
Homework assignments will include assigned classroom and computer generated assignments.

The opportunity to make-up an exam and/or lab will be determined by the circumstances of each individual, permitted at the discretion of the instructor. The time and place for make-up tests will be determined by the instructor.

It is the responsibility of the student to obtain notes and course materials for classes caused by their absence.

Attendance

Please remember the deadline for dropping a class at AC is printed in the official Amarillo College schedule of classes. If you stop attending class and do not officially drop the course by the printed deadline, you will receive an 'F' for the course. 

Attendance is a requirement for learning. Absences will be recorded and will be calculated toward the student's final course grade.

A student is credited with attendance when present for the start of class and remains in class until dismissed by the instructor.

If you are going to be late or absent, please notify the instructor as soon as possible.
