Physician Assistant (PA) Studies program prepares students for a career in one of the fastest growing and rewarding health care fields. PA’s are educated through academic and clinical training as medical providers who are licensed to practice medicine as part of the health care team. The visit will be at the School of Pharmacy located in Amarillo, and students will learn how an AC Associate of Science in Biology prepares students to apply to the school of pharmacy, review the Pharm D curriculum, speak with faculty and students and tour the school.

The WT College of Business transfer visit day is for AC Business and Computer Information System students seeking to pursue a business or CIS bachelor’s degree. Students will learn about the programs offered, participate in a business class or CIS faculty discussion, tour the College of Business and enjoy a Q&A lunch session with WT business students and faculty.

Texas Tech University Department of Petroleum Engineering will host a Roughneck Boot Camp, a hands-on experience, where students will inspect industry equipment and have the opportunity to network with top industry experts. Students will tour the Petroleum Building and the Oilfield Technology Center (OTC) and receive a detailed discussion on resume and interviewing skills to prepare for a career in petroleum engineering.
Arrive at the Petroleum Building at 12:30 PM to register and receive a free T-shirt. Transportation to OTC is provided, but limited.
