The Auto Collision program at Amarillo College equips students with the knowledge and applications necessary to launch entry-level careers in auto body shops. AC’s auto shop on the East Campus features a state-of-the-art virtual paint simulator and booths for painting and priming. Students receive significant hands-on experience straightening frames, repairing dents, and replacing panels.

Auto collision technicians are knowledgeable in the field of auto body repair and possess the necessary skills to perform related repairs and custom refinishing according to the manufacturer's specifications. Collision repair technicians fix damaged bodies and body parts of automotive vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks, buses, campers, and trailers.
