GED & ESL CAREER READINESS PROGRAM
Career Ready You is Amarillo College's innovative program that puts adult learners on a fast track to rewarding careers!
The program combines college courses with High School Equivalency (GED) and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Successful students will not only accomplish their goal of an ESL or GED certificate, but also emerge from the program as active college students in a College Certificate program that leads to an Associate's Degree.
Students working toward their GED can simultaneously enroll in GED classes and Amarillo College courses. We can help you earn a GED and college credits at the same time - with your first two college classes being FREE!

If you need to improve your English to enter post-secondary academic or career training programs, then English as a Second Language (ESL) for Career Ready You at Amarillo College is the place for you!

To complete the application, you will be requested to provide your social security number AND your driver's license number.
If you do not have both, you may apply in person at one of our campus locations listed below.
