Career Ready You is Amarillo College's innovative new program that combines college courses wtih High School Equivalency (GED) and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes. Sucessful students will not only accomplish their goal of an ESL or GED certificate, they will also emerge from the program as an active college student in a College Certificate program that leads to an Associate's Degree.
If you need to improve your English to enter post-secondary academic or career training programs, the English as a Second Language (ESL) for Career Ready You at Amarillo College is the place for you!
Career Ready You welcomes individuals at the low-beginning to advanced levels who want to better their English. Academic and career-focused, non-credit English classes are offered to citizens, permanent residents, refugees, and others who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking, land listening. Career Ready You isn't just a GED program...
Students have an opportunity to simultaneously enroll in GED classes and academic college courses. Career Ready You is designed to help students earn a Level 1 or Level 2 certificate while working on obtaining their GED certificate.
