Improve file accessibility with Ally's step-by-step instructions

In addition to providing you with insight to your course accessibility, Ally automatically generates alternative accessible versions of files for your students while keeping your original file. This way, while you are in the process of improving files, students can still access alternative copies.

Gauges

Students do not see these gauges.

Next to each uploaded document a small gauge will appear to indicate the level at which the file is accessible.

Dark Green icon = Perfect
Light Green icon = High Accessibility
Orange icon = Medium Accessibility

Students do not see these gauges. These are for instructors to easily identify content needing accessibility improvements.

Clicking on the gauge will open directions for how to improve the accessibility of the document.
