Description: Upon completing this course, participants will be able to login to AC Connect, open a Blackboard course, create announcements, use the course email client, create folders and rules in Outlook to redirect incoming emails into appropriate folders, link the course syllabus (stored in the AC Syllabus Mgr. program) to the Blackboard course, set up the course gradebook, archive the course, and submit final grades at the end of the semester.

Professional Learning points: Blackboard Essentials does not count towards the Professional Learning points or stipend.
Description: Blackboard 101 is a step-by-step hands-on tutorial to help AC students navigate the Blackboard system. In this course, students will learn to send email, download and upload documents, participate in a discussion board post, and take a Blackboard test. Some faculty have taken it in the past as well, and have said that it really helped them to understand the perspective of their students in navigating Blackboard.
