Professional Learning Cohorts

Welcome back to another academic year. We are excited to be back in person and offering a new lineup of professional learning. Do you want to know more about using Google and its extensions? Maybe you have heard about the book "Small Teaching" by James Lang? Or are you ready to lose the textbook? We are offering cohorts based on these topics and so much more. Check out our CTL webpage to learn more and to register.

Rank and Tenure Courses

We are again offering graduate-level rank and tenure courses. This year we will offer courses #3 and #4. Course 3 "Understanding Diverse Learners in Community College" will be offered during this fall semester. Course 4 "Alignment: Pedagogy through Assessment" will be offered in Spring 2022. Registration is now open for both courses.

Deliverables

Each one of our cohorts has a deliverable requirement. You will take something you learned in the cohort and implement it in your class. For a sample of the deliverable form click here: Teaching Effectiveness Questions.
