Recommended

• Go to the Amarillo College homepage, www.actx.edu
• Click on “Paying for College” from the green toolbar.
• Select “Scholarship List”
• The first scholarship will be “Amarillo College Foundation.”
• Click the green “Apply” button on the right.
• Enter Information
• Indicate that you are LITE Eligible/ a student with a disability and answer the associated questions.

General Scholarship Requirements

• Available online from November 15 – October 15 every year.
• Preferred deadline is March 1st.
• Minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 hours at Amarillo College.

• Search "LITE" in the search bar
• Click the green “Apply” button on the right.
• Enter Information

LITE Scholarship Requirements

Students Must

• Meet requirements for the general scholarship,
• Have documented disability on record with Disability Services,
• Have documented financial need,
• Have demonstrated academic progress, and
• Have desire and determination to achieve their goals
