Budgeting Tips for Financial Aid

  • Financial Aid Disbursement: Comes once per semester (NOT by 8-week term)
  • Purchase ALL your books and supplies at the beginning of the semester. This ensures you have everything you need for both parts of the semester - term 1 and term 2.
  • You may use your financial aid funds to charge your books and supplies. This way, you won't need to pay out of pocket; the cost of books and supplies will be deducted from your Pell Grant total.
