DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE USER EXPERIENCES

The Industrial Technology Core and 5 Tracks

The Industrial Technology core curriculum includes the following four classes required by every student in the major: 

  • Machine Shop Mathematics
  • Introduction to Industrial Maintenance
  • Technical Communication
  • Basic Electrical Theory


Once a student successfully completes these 4 classes they earn a Marketable Skills Certificate in Technical Education.

These classes provide a solid basis from which students continue into one of 5 tracks:

  • Electromechanical 
  • HVACR
  • Instrument and Electronics
  • Solar Technology
  • Wind Technology

 

Basic and advanced certificates and an A.A.S. (Associates in Applied Science) degree are offered in all tracks.  Students can attend morning or evening classes and can start the program in the Fall or Spring semester.
