About Your Cell Phone
For consideration of others
We request that everyone maintains a reasonable volume to allow for studying in the Library.
Students are expected to put cell phones on vibrate or silent in the Library.
If a student receives a call, they are expected to do one of the following:
- Step into an empty classroom
- Step into one of the hallways, or
- Exit the floor
To limit noise and for the safety of our students, the use of a speakerphone in the Library is PROHIBITED.
Violation of these requests distracts all users and staff of the Library and may result in a request to leave the floor.

When Amarillo College is closed, the Library will also be closed. This includes inclement weather days. *Check the Master Calendar to verify closure dates.
