SUCCESS IS

MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OTHERS

Application

An applicant with a felony conviction should be aware of the possibility of not being allowed to take the national certification exam or become licensed in Texas as an OTA. A person who is not allowed by NBCOT to take the certification exam because of a felony conviction will probably not be able to get Texas license as an OTA.

The impact of a felony conviction on eligibility to sit for the certification exam can be determined through NBCOT.

The impact of a felony conviction on eligibility to be licensed in Texas as an OTA can be determined through ECPTOTE.
