Radiography Program FAQ

No, the AC Radiography program is not an online program. Students accepted into the program will need to live in Amarillo or within driving distance of Amarillo due to on-campus classes and clinical rotations.

Yes, HITT 1205 will be required for students accepted into the program in the fall of 2026. It however, does not count for points in the 2026 application process. The course may be taken after acceptance into the program for fall 2026.

No, immunizations and CPR cards will be uploaded into Complio after acceptance into the program.

The number varies due to clinical site availability. We typically range from 25-28 accepted into the program in the fall of each year.

No extra points are awarded for previous healthcare experience or job shadowing. The only extra points are from being on the Dean’s List (or equivalent) as a full-time student.

If you are taking a class during the following time frames, it will be counted on this application cycle for the 2026 Radiography program:

  • SP 2026-first 8-weeks
  • SP 2026-second 8-weeks
  • SP 2026 16 weeks

AC semesters end on May 15, 2026.  Any classes completed after that time will not be counted on this application cycle.
