Amarillo College to Host Area College Fair Sept. 16 at AmTech
High school students, parents, and anyone exploring higher education opportunities will have a unique chance to connect directly with colleges and technical training schools from across Texas and the nation at the Amarillo Area College Fair, 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 at AmTech Career Academy, 3601 Plains Blvd.
The free event will feature representatives from about 50 colleges and universities, ready to share details about academic programs, scholarships, admissions, campus life, and more. Institutions ranging from large universities to community colleges and technical schools will be on hand, giving attendees a broad view of the many educational pathways available.
“This event will be highly informative for prospective students and their families,” said Margarita Rocha, AC’s director of outreach services. “These representatives can answer questions about everything from application requirements to academic options – it’s about real information, not just frills.”
