You will receive classroom coaching from skilled, experienced Site Coordinators and Mentor Teachers, and be able to immediately apply principles from your practical coursework.
The Tech Teach 2+1 fast-track program: the 2 refers to the number of years to complete core curriculum at a university or community college. The 1 refers to the one year (12 months) required to complete a bachelors degree and earn state teacher certification (2+1). Candidates never come to the Lubbock campus (except for graduation). Students are recruited in Amarillo for AISD and candidates commit to working in the district for up to two years after graduation.
