The teacher education program at Texas Womans University prepares outstanding professional educators who make a difference in their communities. We see educators as teachers, leaders and advocates in service. Our students gain not only the professional knowledge they will need in the classroom, but also the skills needed to help their students reach their full potential. In doing so, they open doors of opportunity for future generations, the true calling of every teacher.

The TWU College of Professional Education (COPE) has built online opportunities covering a multitude of programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our programs meet YOU where YOU are. If you transfer from a community college, both the BS in Education and BS Child Development are entirely online. Complete your student teaching and field experience hours wherever you are.
