The Tutoring for Success policy applies to any student whose grade or performance in the course falls below a departmentally determined minimum threshold. In either of those cases, the instructor will direct the student to the appropriate tutoring service, which may be faculty-led, discipline-specific, and/or general. Under this policy, the instructor will follow specific departmental guidelines governing the use, duration, and grade component of the tutoring need.
Students who do not attend class on or prior to the census date will be administratively dropped. Effective Fall, 2016
Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.

Standard classroom decorum is expected. Students must be responsible, courteous and polite to others. Students must also participate in class room and in labs.Safety glasses and uniform shirts must be worn at all times. Being late will not be tolerated, point will start being deducted after several incidents.Must have class required tools . No shirts or safety glasses will result in being asked to leave class for the day.
Grading will be divided into three categories. Class will be 5%. Attendance will be 20%. Work in the lab will be 65%. Final will be 10% of overall grade.
Due to unforeseen circumstances daily grade will be all three grades of Class, Attendance and Lab. (Covid 19)
Must work on assignments daily for grade failure to do so will result in a zero for the day.
It is not the Instructors responsibility to remind you to do your online course work.
Communication will mainly be done through texting/emailing.
Regular attendance is necessary for satisfactory achievement. Therefore it is the responsibility of the student to attend class. Attendance will be part of the final grade. Leaving class early without permission will result in a 0 for the day. Must engage in Lab activities and class projects to successfully pass .It is your response ability to constantly keep up with your grades.
After three tardies points will be deducted.
Two tardies after 830 will result in being asked to go home with a zero.
