Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.

Students enrolled in an educational program in preparation for obtaining certain occupational licenses are potentially ineligible for such license if the student has been convicted of an offense. The further information you will receive will include notification to you of your right to request a criminal history evaluation letter from the licensing authority in order to clarify your particular situation.

Students must have a laptop computer with reliable Internet access when completing online exams. Smartphones and tablets are not reliable for use with exams.
End-of-Course Outcomes: Explain the mode of action, clinical indications, dosages, hazards, and side effects of pulmonary and cardiovascular drugs; calculate drug dosages; and select drugs for optimal therapeutic benefits.

The final grade for this course is based on the following:
Weekly written assignments are to be turned in before the due date. Any written assignment not completed on time will be scored as zero without exception.
Exams must be taken on the assigned days. If an exam is missed, the student will receive a zero (0) in the grade book. Exams are open for one week. Do not wait until the last minute just in case there are technical difficulties.
All lessons will be posted as a PowerPoint with a recorded lecture. Each lesson will have an assignment. Lectures and assignments will open at 0600 on Monday mornings and close the following Sunday night at midnight. You must get your assignments taken care of on time. NO LATE WORK WILL BE ACCEPTED.
The number of points earned by a student will be divided by the maximum possible points for the course. The result will be expressed as a percent and converted to a final letter grade. The grading scale for this course is:
A = 90-100 (450-405 points)
B = 80-89 (404-360 points)
C = 70-75 (359-337.5 points)
F = less than 75 (less than 337.5 points)
There will be no extra credit offered in this course.
Students must score a 75% in order to pass this course.
Regular attendance (logging in and completing online assignments) is necessary for satisfactory achievement.

Tutoring Policy:
To meet course requirements, students who do not achieve the minimum passing score of 75% on any Section Exam are required to:
Required tutoring will be prescribed each time a student does not achieve the minimum passing score of 75% on a Section Exam.
Students who do not complete the required tutoring will not be allowed to take the course’s next exam.
Students who do not complete the required tutoring and are not allowed to take the next exam will earn a grade of zero for that exam.
This is a guide for our course and is subject to change. The last day to drop is April 20, 2018.
