Students who do not attend class on or prior to the census date will be administratively dropped. Effective Fall, 2016
Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. This withdrawal limitation does not include dual credit or developmental classes (Senate Bill 1231 Rule 4.10.) End-of-Course Outcomes: Utilize appropriate safety procedures; explain engine dynamics; diagnose and repair ignition and fuel delivery systems; and use current engine performance diagnostic equipment.
NATEF Course Objectives:

Follow Student Code of Conduct. Wear the correct attire for your program, AC shirt, jeans, closed toe shoes/boots that are non-slip. Wear safety glasses when in the shop. Practice good hygiene.
Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
If you are not in your shirt, buttoned, tucked in, you will lose 10 points off your daily grade.
You MUST have safety glasses on at all times in the shop. If you do not have safety glasses, you will not be allowed in and a grade of ZERO will be given for lab.

Final = 25%
You have 3 CALENDAR DAYS to turn in late assignments. Late assignments will automatically get 25% taken off.
Attendance is IMPORTANT! Be on time. Being more than 15 minutes late will result in a deduction of 25 points from your attendance grade for the day. If you leave early, without appropriate notice, a zero will be given for the day.
