The Tutoring for Success policy applies to any student whose grade or performance in the course falls below a departmentally determined minimum threshold. In either of those cases, the instructor will direct the student to the appropriate tutoring service, which may be faculty-led, discipline-specific, and/or general. Under this policy, the instructor will follow specific departmental guidelines governing the use, duration, and grade component of the tutoring need.

Students who wish to withdraw from a course must complete all steps indicated on the Academic Withdrawal Request form by the course withdrawal deadline.
NOTE: Students who are attending Texas institutions of higher education, for the first time fall 2007 and later, may not withdraw from more than six courses during their academic career. End-of-Course Outcomes: Perform common methods of measurement conversion; determine the degree of precision measurement required; identify various types of precision instruments and their applications; list maintenance procedures on various types of measuring instruments; interpret and confirm blueprint requirements; convert between English and metric units; compute total tolerances of parts; calibrate various types of precision measuring instruments to a standard; and select and use precision measurement tools.

Attendance and Participation grading for class
You are expected to attend all class meetings on time and stay for the whole class. Points will be deducted from your attendance and participation for not complying.
Three tardies ( more than ten minutes after the start of class or leaving before class is concluded) equal an absence.
Ten points will be deducted from your final grade for each absence.
If you have any questions about this criteria, feel free to discuss them with me personally.

You MUST get your Instructor's permission to bring a vehicle into the shop. If you do not, you WILL be asked to leave the shop.
Vehicles are not to remain "overnight". Any work performed MUST be completed by the end of class. Verify you have ALL parts and supplies needed to complete any maintenance or repair. If unsure, ask your instructor prior to work being started.
All vehicles brought into the shop MUST have a repair order filled out and placed on the windshield.
Honk your horn prior to entering and leaving the shop.
Have a window down and keys outside of the vehicle to prevent being locked out.
