MAJOR EXAM MAKE-UP POLICY:
A student who will not complete a Major Exam at the scheduled time must contact the instructor before the scheduled exam. If the absence is excused, the test must be taken BEFORE the next class session. No further attempt will then be possible.
There will be no make-up for missed quiz grades. The two lowest quiz grades will be dropped.
Regular attendance is necessary for successful completion of this course. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the student to attend class.

Failure to do so will result in NON-admittance to that particular class/lab session with associated grade losses or penalties. In addition, students are representatives of Amarillo College while in uniform. As such, disciplinary action (up to, and including, removal from the program) will be taken against any student wearing the uniform inappropriately, or in an unfitting location, whether on (or outside) an AC class or event.
After 2 absences from lecture and/or lab, a one point deduction for each additional absence will be taken from the student’s final average.
