 AC’s doctoral Biology faculty is committed to preparing students of Biology for success. Biology is the study of life and encompasses everything from the molecular study of life processes right up to the study of animal and plant communities. Students at AC become immersed in all aspects of Biology – molecular, cellular and organism – through courses designed for seamless transfer to the university level. 

 

What can you do with a Biology degree?

Depending on individual interests, biology careers can lead to the study of living organisms such as animals, plants, humans or even bacteria, or help develop biological knowledge and understanding of living processes. Biologists explore everything from treatment of disease to sustaining the natural environment. Careers abound, from to biochemist to zoologist.
