Ordering Textbooks Online

Online orders placed between March 18th and March 24th (until 11:59 p.m.) will qualify for Free FedEx Shipping for Amarillo, Canyon, and distance education students. All orders with a destination address of the city of Hereford or Dumas will be sent to their corresponding campus free of charge. To encourage students to stay home during this time, we are offering 10% discount on textbooks when using the code STAYSAFE during this time.

To begin ordering your textbooks online, please visit the Amarillo College Online Bookstore website. You will need your class schedule, AC ID, and Online Bookstore account to complete the ordering process.

  1. Log into your Online Bookstore account or create a new account if it is your first time ordering.
  2. Generate a book list using your class schedule and add each course as needed.
  3. Select your choice of new or used textbooks. If an item shows N/A, that indicates that the item is not currently in stock or available at this time.
  4. Enter your 7 digit (no letters) AC ID number, billing and shipping customer information. Verify all information before submitting your order.
  5. Select either FedEx Ground shipping or have your textbooks delivered to the Moore Country or Hereford campus.
  6. You will receive a confirmation email with your order number. Please reference this number if changes need to be made to your order.


Orders placed before March 24, 2020 (11:59 p.m.) will arrive on or before the first day of class on March 30, 2020.

Please allow 2-5 business days for orders to process and ship for FedEx Ground, Moore County, and Hereford Campus orders placed after March 30, 2020.
