Joseph Melius joined the Amarillo College faculty in 2019. He began his academic journey at Amarillo College right out of high school and received his associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems in 2009. After returning to school, he received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from West Texas A&M in 2017 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Computer Science. As an instructor, he is always eager to help students succeed in their academic and professional goals. He has a passion for various Information Systems topics and believes that critical thinking, logic, and problem solving skills are of paramount importance to any aspiring programmer, software developer, or other IT professional.
