AC's Carpentry and Construction Technology program provides learners with a well-rounded education in Carpentry or Construction principles and practices with an emphasis on real-world hands-on learning experience. Learners build full-size mock-ups and participate in various service learning construction projects that will prepare learners for fulfilling craft trade profession of their preference.

What can you do with a Carpentry or Construction Technology degree or certificate?

The Carpentry and Construction Technology program at Amarillo College equips students with the knowledge and applications necessary to launch careers in the commercial and residential construction industries. Students receive significant hands-on experience in preparation for careers in everything from construction worker and construction-site management, to cost estimator and building inspector.
