Proposal Submission Form
Amarillo College faculty and staff considering applying for external funding MUST complete the following steps before submitting an application or proposal to an external funding agency. This process should be completed approximately four weeks prior to the proposed grant's application deadline. No proposal may be submitted to any external agency without final administrative approval as outlined in the procedures.
- Ensure approval from the Department Chair or Dean and the respective Cabinet Representative.
- Complete the Proposal Submission Form at least thirty days before the proposal deadline.
- Submit the completed form along with a copy of the Program/Funding Announcement.
Application Type Definitions
- New: An application that is being submitted to a direct funding entity for the first time.
- Resubmission: An unfunded application the applicant has modified following the initial funder review and resubmitted for consideration.
- Renewal: An application requesting additional funding and/or time, over and above what was originally proposed, for a period subsequent to that provided by the current award.
- Revision: A supplemental application requesting additional funding for an active award. The project period will typically overlap with the parent award.
