AC's Music degree fulfills the first two years of music curriculum for the student preparing to major in Music Performance, Music Education, Music Business, Music Therapy, Music Technology, etc., and specific degree plans by instrument or voice.
Use your time in high school to immerse yourself in as much music-making and learning as possible! The more you prepare during high school, the more in-depth your college-level music studies will be.
Performance instruction and most ensembles are available to non-music majors for elective credit through continuing education as well as to members of the general community.
From beginning piano and guitar classes to opera workshops, jazz ensembles and even opportunities to join a community concert band, Amarillo College has a world of musical opportunities from which to choose.
