Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation
Nondestructive testing is a growing technology whereby the structural integrity of materials is evaluated by various testing methods. The most common testing methods are:
- Visual Inspection
- Magnetic Particle Testing
- Liquid Penetrant Testing
- Radiographic Testing
- Ultrasonic Testing
- Eddy Current Testing
The Nondestructive Testing program offers an Associate degree and three Certificates of Completion. Evening classes are available. Students can start the program in either fall or spring semesters.

Goals of the Program
The Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation program strives to provide quality, hands-on education. We seek opportunities to train students for entry-level positions or to upgrade current skills to be in-line with ASNT requirements. Our goal is to offer NDTE training to the Texas Panhandle that will compare to anywhere in the country.
