Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation

AC’s Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation program prepares students for rewarding careers in the testing and examination industry. Nondestructive tests are done to detect internal or external imperfections or defects; to determine structure, composition, and properties; or to measure geometric characteristics without affecting the form, fit, or function of the test object or material. In today’s modernized industrial environment, plant safety and equipment quality aren’t what companies hope for – they’re absolute necessities – and AC offers an associate degree and three certificate programs. Evening classes are available.

Nondestructive testing (NDT) and evaluation graduates are in demand and employed worldwide in industries where component failures are unacceptable, like aviation, nuclear power, petroleum, manufacturing, transportation, pipeline testing, and construction. AC’s program provides quality, hands-on training that compares favorably with any program in the country. Through sophisticated diagnostic testing, NDT graduates unravel mysteries in a non-invasive manner.
