Sara Pesina is one of two non-voting members serving on the Amarillo College Board of Regents, each of whom represents one of the College's branch campuses located in Dumas and Hereford.

Pesina is AC's Hereford representative and was sworn in as a Regent on Sept. 25, 2018.

Pesina, who was born and raised in Hereford, is executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters in her hometown. Previously a counselor at Hereford High School, she retired after 37 years with the Hereford Independent School District.

Sara and Raul Pesina have two daughters and three grandsons.
