Pathways: How to Become an Educator (Secondary Education)

AC Education majors interested in a professional career as an educator within the secondary education field can discover the various careers from teaching to administration. The presentation will include the degree path requirements for each educational profession, an overview of the WT education program admissions process, and how to connect to the department’s support system to ensure the completion of your teacher’s certification degree.

Pathways: How to Become a Social Worker

West Texas A&M University's Social Work faculty will be on the AC Campus to present information about the social work program. The social work program prepares students for employment as competent and effective entry-level generalist social work practitioners. 

AC students can learn about degree options, the social work admissions process, how to achieve their licensure by the State of Texas as a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW), and the career outlook.

The WT College of Business transfer visit day is for AC Business and Computer Information System students seeking to pursue a business or CIS bachelor’s degree. Texas Tech University Transfer Visit Day

Transfer Visit Day will introduce prospective students to the resources available at Texas Tech University. Students will be able to meet with an advisor, take a tour of campus and meet with academic colleges. There are also several opportunities to interact with former transfer students who are now current Red Raiders!
