More than a decade ago, Amarillo College opened a local campus in Moore County and brought with it additional educational opportunities for Dumas and the surrounding communities. Since then, the Moore County Career and Technical Campus has opened its doors as well. These campuses have seen the integration of the QUEST program and workforce training partnerships with local business and industry groups. With the addition of the TRIO Student Support Services and the Testing Center, Amarillo College Moore County Campus has made it possible for students to have a more complete college experience.
There are also a number of student organizations, including: Lion’s club, P.E.A.C.E. Bible Club, and Student Government. Other activities for the enrichment of our students’ lives are: intramural sports and various service projects which are student led and college-sponsored. If you are new to the community or have never been to the campus, you are welcome to come and tour the facility and meet our staff. We would love to meet you and discuss your current and future educational goals.
Stop by the front desk at the 1st St. campus to get registered.
Students in technical education programs can also get registered at the Career & Technical Center.
