The Physical Plant is a service oriented operation responsible for planning, construction, renovation, maintenance and repair of Amarillo College buildings and facilities. Included in those services is the maintenance of facility records, blueprints and drafting documentation. Also provided are custodial services, refuse collection, special events assistance, vehicle maintenance and fleet management, roads and grounds upkeep and environmental safety.

Physical Plant Purpose Statement

The Mission of the Physical Plant Department is to provide cost effective and responsive service for maintenance, operations and cleanliness of facilities, grounds, utility services, and other related support functions that support the instructional, research, and public service functions of Amarillo College.
