Amarillo native Sally Jennings is an Amarillo College graduate who was elected to a six-year term on the AC Board of Regents in May 2017.

After graduating from AC, Jennings continued her studies at the University of Texas where she received her BBA in International Business from the McCombs School of Business. 

Upon graduating from UT, she enjoyed a successful career in the high-tech industry, solving complex problems and negotiating large contracts for Fortune 500 companies while working for Oracle as a global account manager. Jennings also worked with startup companies as a coach, mentor and business strategist. 

Jennings is an active angel investor in medical, mobile, high-tech, real estate and environmental startups. She is passionate about helping students and young professionals develop new ideas, stretch themselves and embrace a "can do, no fear" attitude in every aspect of their lives.

Jennings has been heavily involved in the Amarillo community. She is a graduate of Amarillo 101 and the Amarillo Independent School District iLead program.

She also currently serves as chairman of the city of Amarillo Civil Service Commission and is an active member of PEO, which is a philanthropic education organization, dedicated to the education of women. 

She is married to Dr. Gary S. Jennings and has two children. The Jennings are active members of Saint Paul United Methodist Church, where Sally serves on the finance committee and the Wee Care board.
