Graduates will receive information about their Community and ceremony start time in the letter sent to their home address and student email. The ceremonies will be specific to each student group and space is limited so switching ceremonies will not be permitted.
3 p.m. - Health Services and Industry Communities
7 p.m. - Liberal Arts, Business, Computer Information Systems, Education, STEM, Public Service, & Creative Arts Communities
Students will be sent their required arrival time in their letters. It is suggested that graduate guests arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the appropriate ceremony.
- Location: Amarillo Civic Center Coliseum
- Tickets: Guests do not currently need tickets to attend the ceremony
- Graduate Application: Students do not need to apply to graduate. Once all degree requirements are complete, the record will be updated for graduation purposes.
Spring graduates on track to complete all coursework and degree requirements by the end of the spring 2019 term, will be sent a letter showing their pending graduation status and any missing (if applicable) courses. Students can bring this letter from the Registrar's Office to the AC Bookstore to purchase their cap/gown.
Summer graduates who wish to walk in the spring ceremony should contact the Registrar's Office to ensure they receive the appropriate communications.
