2025 Spring Commencement Ceremony


Graduate Notifications:

About midway through each Fall and Spring term, potential graduates will be identified by the Registrar's Office and sent an email to their AC Student email.  This email notifies students that they are a potential graduate for the indicated program and award level and invites the student to participate in that term's commencement ceremony.  Graduates will receive all communications related to graduation and commencement via their student email.  

GRADUATION FAQS

Students who have not received a graduation notification in their email by April 4th , but believe that they should be graduating/participating in this ceremony, should contact their advisor.

Final Instructions will be emailed to graduates no later than December 9th.

Spring 2025 Ceremony Date and Times:

Date: May 9th, 2025 (Friday)

  • Purchase your cap and gown at the Badger Central Bookstore.
  • Associate Degrees:  those earning an associate degree (AA, AS, AAS) may purchase their yokes in the bookstore as well.
  • Register with Candid Color Photography for your graduation photo proofs. Registering now enables your proofs to be emailed to you after the commencement ceremony. No purchase is necessary to register to view your proofs. 
  • Invitations, class rings, and more may be purchased at www.Jostens.com
  • Name Pronunciation: If you feel that the administrator calling graduate names will need assistance pronouncing your name, please call Nancy Farren at 806-371-5431 to provide the correct pronunciation.
  • Assistance Needed: If you need a sign language interpreter, assistance navigating stairs, or other accommodations, please contact Disability Services at 806-345-5639.

Register for Photo Proofs

Summer Graduates:

Summer 2025 graduates will be invited to walk in the Spring 2025 Commencement ceremony once they have registered for their final summer courses. Registration for Summer 2025 opens Monday, April 7th.  The deadline for summer graduates to register for their summer courses in order to be invited to the spring commencement ceremony will be posted soon.  

Commencement Ceremony Livestream:

Guests not able to attend commencement may view the ceremony via the Livestream!

Graduation Application:

Students do not need to apply to be evaluated for graduation. 

Diplomas:

Once all degree requirements are complete and the semester is complete, the record will be updated for graduation purposes. Once a student is officially graduated, we will announce to the student via email how the student can receive the diploma. Attending commencement is not a requirement to receive a diploma.

Students have up to one year to claim the diploma prior to the student being charged a diploma reprint fee. 

Diploma reprints: There is a $15 fee for diploma reprints.  Diploma reprints can be requested using the Diploma Reprint form in the Forms Section of Student Information.
