Transcript Notes

  • Institution Closed: 
    When the college is closed, transcript requests will not be fulfilled. The Registrar's Office is closed on weekends. Transcripts will also not be express mailed (FedEx) or snail mailed during institutional holidays such as the two-week Christmas break, Thanksgiving holiday, etc. In addition, digital requests made through agencies such as National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) may likewise not be fulfilled in instances where further research is needed. If a FedEx transcript is requested during a holiday, a refund cannot be awarded.
  • Account Holds:
    If a student currently has a hold on their student record, a transcript will not be released.
  • Continuing Education: 
    If a student needs a Continuing Education transcript sent somewhere, they will not be able to order through National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and will need to submit our paper-based request and/or come in person with a valid ID for transcript pick up. 
  • FedEx Delays and Other Delays:
    If FedEx shipments are delayed, we cannot guarantee the typical overnight delivery option is possible. AC will not be able to grant refunds in instances where the 3rd party partner (e.g. FedEx) does not deliver as quickly as the student requested.  

 

Transcript Access Information

Your Amarillo College transcript may be accessed in person, through mail request, or electronically (see methods below).

Current Student - Unofficial Transcript Access

  1. ONLINELog into AC Connect, click on Self Service for Students > Unofficial Transcript. This is an Unofficial Transcript. For an Official Transcript, see below.
     

Past and Current Students - Transcript Ordering Information

  1. ONLINE: Visit the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to order your transcript. Students can order standard transcripts through NSC or through options #2 (Mail or Fax) or #3 (In Person), but all FedEx requests or transcript email requests must be submitted through NSC. The NSC does charge a small fee for transcript requests and FedEx requests are charged standard shipping fees in addition to the NSC fee. All FedEx requests are processed as our first priority every morning. As a result, FedEx requests must be received prior to 8 A.M. on the business day you'd like it sent out to ensure it is fully processed and goes out in that day's mail.   
  2. MAIL OR FAX:  Complete/Submit the Transcript Request Form.
  3. IN PERSON: Bring a valid photo ID to any AskAC Counter.
