Thank you for taking time to focus on your students' career development needs. Career and Employment Services assists students in all stages of their career planning and decision-making process. 

Career counselors focus on helping the student develop a personal strategy to meet their career goals beyond their current degree program through:

• Uncovering their skills, interests and values through a student’s MyPlan (Career Assessment) 
• Provide career counseling to assist the student with career related decisions
• Effectively articulating skills learned both in and outside the classroom
• Polishing resumes or cover letters
• Creating a job or internship search strategy
• Preparing for interviews
• Connecting to professional networks

Career and Employment Services has career counselors located on the Washington Street campus. However, with some advanced planning we can meet you or your student(s) at all of Amarillo College's campuses.  

To refer a student for individual career advising, direct them to our office. We are located in the Student Services Center or they can call us at 806-371-5147.
