ACNetID & Password Help

New Students or Employees

AC Connect is your personal pathway to your account portal. Here you will find Google Apps and Gmail, your calendar, AC Connect Classes, and other important information applicable to you.

All New Students and First Time Users must complete this process when logging in for the first time.

  1. Go to https://acconnect.actx.edu.
  2. Click on the red "Reset Password/Help" button

  1. The system will ask you several questions and automatically reset your account.

Returning Students or Employees

  1. Go to https://acconnect.actx.edu
  2. Enter your ACNetID (username) or amarillocollege.com email address
    1. AC Employees - this is not your Outlook email address ending in actx.edu.
  3. Enter your Password.
  4. Submit.

Password & Security Questions

  • If your password is not accepted, it may have expired. Use the instructions above regarding the Red Help Button.
  • If you have forgotten your security questions, you can get them re-set in the Enrollment Center.

DUO Authentication

DUO Multifactor Authentication (MFA) is required for students and staff at Amarillo College to access the AC Connect Portal and all Single Sign On (SSO) partners, such as Ellucian Colleague, Self Service, and The Student Engagement Portal (Watermark).

  • If you have difficulty with DUO while trying to access your AC accounts, try following the steps found on the DUO Enrollment Process page.
  • If you continue to have difficulty with DUO, please contact AC's Tech Support at TIC@actx.edu.
