Dr. Paul Matney, President added his comments and praise for the new facility.
Co-Chairs - Friends of AC, Alice O’Brien and John Huffaker were instrumental in the efforts to pass the 2007 BOND ELECTION that funded the construction of the new facility.
Michele Fortunato, Chair of the Amarillo College Board of Regents and Amarillo Mayor, Debra McCartt spoke to those in attendance.
Dr. Michael Kopenits, Chair of the Biology Department Is pleased with his new surroundings.
Ribbon Cutting was performed by AC students, Mandie Cox (Chemistry), Kayla Hodges (Biology) and Brittany Vargas (Biology)
Happy to see the new building open was student and SGA President, Tyler Adams along with student CC Mongrain.
